Enjoy artistic photos of “Hanoi – Forever with Time”

On September 25th, Hoan Kiem Ward’s Culture, Information and Sports Centre – Hang Thong Flower Garden Space (42 Chung Houses, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), the Vietnam Photography Artist Association, Hanoi Literary Association of Hanoi Art Photography Association, in 2025, the 12th Hanoi Area Festival was opened and awarded.

The Hanoi Art Art Festival is the annual activity of the Vietnam Photography Artist Association, in collaboration with the Hanoi Literature and Arts Union and the Hanoi Art Photography Association. This is an opportunity to summarise and evaluate the artistic labor outcomes of the community photography team, and will be introduced to the public in a unique and new art photography work.

This year’s festival features 802 works, including 731 single photos and 71 photos by 116 Hanoi-region authors participating. The organising committee selected 67 works, including a photo set of 44 authors and 49 applications for the exhibition and awards.

At the opening of the festival, photographer Ho Singh is the permanent vice-president of the Vietnam Photography Artist Association and editor-Chief of Photography Magazines and Life, with the theme of “Hanoi is forever with time,” the festival confirms the eternal value of Van Haien city. Each photo will be displayed. It’s memorable moments, stories, emotional perspectives, and the love and respect of Hanoi artists.

“This is not only an annual photography contest, but it is also an opportunity for the public to admire, feel and be proud of Hanoi’s beauty in its historical-cultural-modern currents,” emphasized photographer Ho Singh.

According to the permanent vice president of the Vietnam Photography Artist Association, the highlight of the festival is the richness of the arts perspective. This work recreated Hanoi on many levels, from ancient heritage to modern works, bringing the breath of a dynamic city. Many of the normal photographs that have been recorded to shake up and remember the daily lives of the people of Hanoi are still ingrained in the love, elegance and refined essence of humanity amidst the fuss and busts of life. It is a combination of tradition and modernity, creating the appearance of the capital “both ancient and young.” They are reaching a new era.

At the special festival, many young authors are taking on new corners, demonstrating the appeal and succession of the Hanoi photography movement, and are committed to bringing new colours in the future.

This year’s festivals, particularly the number of exhibitions and prize money, shows that the author has made new discoveries and expressions about Hanoi.

Usually, Nguyen Ton Hoan’s “urban heart rate” is pointed out in a photo of the traffic point, with cars like “blood flow” from the road leading to the highway to the city.

Nguyen Thi Minh Hai’s “Afternoon Ho Truc Bach” was filmed with Flycam to allow viewers to see Hanoi from above in the afternoon sunshine. The work “Turtle Shadow Holding Co Loa” by Tran Thu ha reminded me of legendary and national history.

Regarding the series of photographs famous in the “Traditional Architecture Thang Thang -Hanoi” by Nguyen duc Toan, these are orders about familiar places in the capital. Collected into group theme groups, there are reasonable post methods to create images, and help sets of photos to spit out gentle beauty…

The organizers awarded 11 outstanding works, including one gold medal, two silver medals, three bronze medals and five comfort awards. The gold medal belongs to the series “Traveller Architecture Thang -Hanoi” by Nguyen Duc Toan. The two prizes are “Ho Truc Bach’s Afternos” by author Nguyen Thi Minh Hai and “Turtle Shadow Holding Co Loa” by author Tran Thu Ha.

The exhibition of outstanding works will be held until the end of October 2nd.
