For the first time, Vietnam celebrated the arts and arts of culinary culture

On September 9th, the Vietnam Food and Culture Association (VCCA) officially announced the launch of a programme to award the title of Vietnamese Culinary Culture.

This is the first time a program has been held nationwide to celebrate the culinary profession. This is to recognize and appreciate individuals who have made many contributions to maintaining and promoting the value of traditional cuisine.

According to the VCCA, the most important item is “Vietnamese Culinary Culture Artisans.” This title is considered at three levels: craftsmen of culinary culture, typical craftsmen, and national craftsmen.

Additionally, the program honored two categories of Vietnamese Culinary Culture Ambassadors and two other categories for Vietnamese Culinary Culture Researchers, who celebrate scholars with research, analysis and spread of culinary values, for individuals who have made special contributions to national and international cuisine promotion.

A key highlight is the process of choosing the transparency, non-commercial, non-profit organizations that the VCCA has committed to. Candidates do not have to pay the fee. The relevant documents will be evaluated by a specialist council, including artisans, researchers, culinary experts and representatives of cultural institutions.

Nguyen Quoc Ky – Chairman of VCCA – said:

The program is expected to enhance culinary status, build a national database of artisans and culinary professionals, and create new motivations to open up opportunities to train and communicate the work of younger generations. This is also the premise of moving on to the National Culinary Awards to bring Vietnamese cuisine to the world level.

According to the plan, Phase 1 (August 11-2025) will consider the title of Vietnamese Culinary Culture Artisan. The second phase comes from November for Vietnam’s ambassadors and culinary cultural researchers. The document will be received from October 10th to October 30th, 2025. The honorary ceremony is scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh City in November 2025.

The VCCA confirmed that the program’s annual organization contributes to bringing Vietnamese cuisine to a highly regarded cultural class, while simultaneously creating the power of expansion in the community and international sectors.
