Awarded 18 titles at the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025

Information at the press conference, Deputy Director of Vietnam National Tourism Board Ha Van Sieu said the Vietnam Tourism Award is the most prestigious award for Vietnam’s tourism industry, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to honor tourism, reputable organizations, educational institutions, media and news organizations that contributed to Vitnam’s development industry.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Anniversary of the Republic of Vietnam, 80 years of traditional culture day (August 28, 2025 – August 28, 2025), and in particular the establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Industry (July 9, September 9, 1960, September 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9).

The 2025 Vietnam Tourism Awards was held on World Tourism Day (September 27) and provided a message to respond to the sustainable tourism transformation launched by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism).

This year’s Vietnam Tourism Awards honor business and tourism units in 11 categories with 18 titles, including travel businesses, accommodation, event facilities, tourism transport, restaurants, spas-healthcare, community tourism destinations, innovative products, golf courses, media agents, tourism training facilities, and more.

At a press conference, director of Vietnam National Tourism Board Nguyen Trung Khanh said that the companies and units participating in the Vietnam Tourism Awards this year have a variety of business sizes and business sectors. In particular, there are award items that are very suitable for small and medium-sized units, such as the restaurant sector, community tourism, creative business, and the size of the company…

Nguyen Trung Khanh also said tourism development trends are currently heading towards green, sustainable, responsible tourism, technological applications and innovation…and therefore these are also integrated standards through this year’s Vietnam Tourism Awards.

Furthermore, golf tourism in Vietnam has always been highly regarded by the world, and is actively contributing to the promotion of the tourism economy. The “Golf Courses Serve the Best Tourists” category is also one of the key awards to confirm the benefits of golf tourism products in attracting international tourists to Vietnam.

In particular, this year’s awards also celebrate their important role and are accompanied by media institutions in the development of Vietnam’s tourism. In recent years, thanks to communication and active promotions in the press, the image of Vietnamese tourism brands is widely transmitted from home and abroad, increasing the status of Vietnamese tourism in the region and around the world.

The 2025 Vietnam Tourism Awards will be held at 8:30am on September 27th at Vin Palace Co Loa Convention Centre in Hanoi and will be broadcast live on Vietnam TV Station (VTV1).
