Thanh Tuyen is colorful before the Mid -Autumn Festival in 2025

Implementing the tasks assigned in the plans and officials of the People’s Committee of Tuyen Quang Province: Plan No. 123/KH-UBND dated May 30, 2025 on organizing Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2025; Document No. 511/UBND-VHXH dated July 25, 2025 on adjusting, supplementing and implementing some contents about Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2025; Document No. 600/UBND-VHXH dated July 29, 2025 on assigning tasks to perform within the framework of Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2025, focusing on directing and advising on the implementation of the organization of the Festival program to ensure quality, efficiency and schedule.

Specifically, the contents and tasks are assigned and coordinated to ensure consistency and strict. The program must be really attractive, highlighted, expressing the cultural identity and development aspirations of Tuyen Quang province, creating a joyful and excited atmosphere among the people and the youth, meeting the needs of enjoying the culture of the people and tourists, suitable to the actual conditions of the province.

According to the plan, Thanh Tuyen festival in 2025 will have the main activities taking place from October 3-5, 2025 (12-14 August lunar calendar) at the administrative center of Tuyen Quang province and localities in the province.

Prominent is the opening program on the evening of October 3 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Minh Xuan Ward, Tuyen Quang Province. The program of Thanh Tuyen festival with the theme “Shimmering colors of Thanh Tuyen Night” on the evening of October 4.

Specifically, the program will be divided into 3 chapters: Fun moon festival; Tuyen Quang – a place to converge cultural colors; Tuyen Quang – the desire to reach out.

In addition, the program will have a large number of children, especially indispensable is the parade of more than 60 models of huge Mid -Autumn Lights.

Moreover, throughout the festival are programs of trade – tourism fairs, display, introduce Vietnamese cuisine and beer festival, and organize sports tournaments associated with the event …

This is the 3rd year Tuyen Quang implemented the Project of renovating the organization of Thanh Tuyen festival. The key goal is to build and develop the festival to become a national brand tourism product and towards internationally.

Thanh Tuyen festival was held for the first time in 2004. After that, it was raised to the provincial scale in 2014 and since then became a unique cultural event of Tuyen Quang province every Mid -Autumn Festival.

Currently, Thanh Tuyen festival is considered to be the unique and largest Mid -Autumn Festival in the country, with many records that have been confirmed by the Guinness Vietnam Record Book such as the festival with many unique Mid -Autumn Lamp models in Vietnam, “the largest mid -autumn festival tray in Vietnam”, “the largest pair of lanterns in Vietnam”.
