Hanoi announces the results of the 10th grade entrance exam no later than June 22

Information from the Department of EducationFor Math, the exam ensures accuracy, a structure familiar to candidates and is designed according to the levels of recognition, understanding and application. Some questions have the effect of classifying students such as question II.3, question III.3, question c of Plane Geometry section and question V – the last question of the exam. In particular, question V is a difficult question at the application level, with a scale of 0.5 points.

The content of the problem is related to the real situation of order fulfillment, daily warehouse rental costs and bonuses for workers after completing the order. To solve correctly, students need to accurately understand the data of the problem, especially the requirement to complete an order of 1,000 products and how to calculate the cost of renting a warehouse by day.

The 2026 entrance exam for non-specialized public high schools in Hanoi will be held on May 30 – 31.

According to information from the Exam Marking Board, 38 Math grading team leaders met and agreed on how to handle some situations in candidates’ assignments. Specifically, with question V, if the student does not understand the conditions of the problem correctly, leading to reasoning in the direction of 5xy = 1000 instead of 5xy ≥ 1000 but still performs the remaining steps correctly, only 0.25 points will be deducted.
