30-year-old beauty Emma Tiglao from the Philippines surpassed 76 contestants to win the title of Miss Grand International 2025 in the final in Bangkok, on the evening of October 18.
The new beauty queen choked up when she was crowned.
Emma Tiglao brought home the second Miss Grand International crown for the Philippines. She won after the behavioral round with a question on the topic “online fraud” and experienced outstanding performances throughout the three-hour competition night.
The new beauty queen was born on December 8, 1994, and is currently a famous model and television host in her homeland. She has participated in beauty contests since 2012 and was in the top 20 of Miss Intercontinental 2019. Emma is considered to combine the elements of beauty – intelligence – stage style, always making a strong impression every time she performs and has a strong fan base. Before the finals, many beauty experts predicted she would be able to win the top spot.
Emma is the second Filipino beauty to win Miss Grand International.
The runner-up title went to the following beauties: Thailand (1st runner-up), Spain (2nd runner-up), Ghana (3rd runner-up) and Venezuela (4th runner-up). The 5 contestants who won the 5th runner-up prize include: Colombia, Czech Republic, Mexico, Guatemala and Tanzania.
Previously, the top 10 announced the names of contestants: Colombia, Czech Republic, Mexico, Venezuela, Thailand, Guatemala, Philippines, Tanzania, Ghana and Spain. The Colombian beauty went straight to the top thanks to winning the contestant with the most votes from the audience.
10 contestants went through an oratory session on the topic “Ending war and conflict” – a separate competition honoring the message of the Miss Grand International beauty contest. Next, the beauties entered the evening gown performance to find the top 5.
Top 22 include: Brazil, Thailand (winner of National Costume), Philippines (winner of National Strength), Ghana (winner of Talent), Japan, England, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Czech Republic, Martinique, Indonesia, France, Zambia, Paraguay, Laos, Tanzania, Thailand, Mexico, Venezuela, Belgium, Spain, USA and Ecuador. Vietnamese beauty, Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, soon stopped, not in the top 22.
The Top 22 then competed in a swimsuit competition – one of the most exciting performances of the night. The contestants wore sexy blue cut-out designs, showing off seductive cawalk steps on stage.

Before that, the competition night opened with a vibrant performance by the contestants and reigning beauty queen Christine Juliane Opiaza. 77 beauties wearing short, low-cut dresses performed seductive dances. Immediately after that was the catwalk and introduction of each contestant. Many girls made an impression when humming the names of their countries and territories, receiving warm applause from the audience such as Ghana, Panama, Philippines, Peru… Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi showed a confident and radiant demeanor on stage when appearing in the last group.

Miss Grand International 2025 takes place from September 29, going through additional competitions such as bikini performance, national costume, closed interview and semi-finals. Miss Peace Vietnam participating in the contest is Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi. Before the finals, Yen Nhi achieved a number of achievements such as top 20 contestants with the most beautiful bikini performances, top 20 most impressive national costume performances and top 8 Country’s Power of the Year.
When she first entered the contest, Yen Nhi appeared quite lackluster, was criticized for her poor English listening skills and faced criticism from domestic audiences for her tongue-tipping incident. However, after that, she gradually asserted her form and had an impressive performance in the semi-finals on October 15.
Yen Nhi was born in 2004, from Dak Lak, and is currently a tourism student. She was crowned Miss Peace Vietnam 2025 on the evening of September 14 and only had two weeks to prepare before competing in Miss Grand International 2025. The beauty is 1.72 m tall with measurements of 81-64-92 cm. She has strengths in body shape and performance style.
Miss Grand International (Miss Grand International) is one of the most attractive beauty contests today.
