Human Act Prize 2026 expands into a platform to connect resources for the community
Human Act Prize is a national-level award organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and VCCorp to honor initiatives, projects and individuals with positive contributions to society.
After three consecutive seasons of spreading humanistic values, 2026 marks a new development step when the Human Act Prize is expanded into the Human Act Platform, aiming to serve as a platform to connect and mobilize social resources for programs that create sustainable impact. Looking back on the journey from 2023, each season of the Human Act Prize is associated with a theme that reflects different qualities of community service. The first season in 2023 with the theme “Pioneer Marks” focuses on honoring individuals and organizations that dare to pave the way and proactively initiate new models for society. In 2024, the theme “Creative Community” emphasizes the role of connection between knowledge, resources and people with common goals. By 2025, the Human Act Prize chooses the theme “Perseverance in Service”, focusing on recognizing persistence and long-term commitment – important factors that help social projects maintain impact over time. The 2025 season received 160 registration applications in many fields such as education, health, social security, cultural preservation, nature and green transformation. Many initiatives with community value were introduced and recognized, including “Journey of Gene Connection – Rediscovering Martyrs’ Names”, “School of Hope”, “School Light” and “Coloring Memories – Skyline”. The top five categories of the 2025 season honored Trang Nguyen Education for its 10-year journey of sowing words; School Internet project supports knowledge connection; Circular economic model in the paper industry of Miza Joint Stock Company; Thien Tam Foundation with a service history spanning nearly two decades; along with the Intergenerational Self-Help Club model of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly. A new feature of the 2025 season is the “Silent Service” category, which recognizes persistent but less widely known contributions. This category paid tribute to Ms. Tran Thi Cam Giang, also known as Mother Muoi, at Thien Duyen Shelter and wounded soldier doctor Le Thanh Do, who spent more than 20 years making free prosthetic limbs for people with disabilities. Entering 2026, the Human Act Prize chose the theme “Community Synergy”, marking the transition from an annual award to a platform model capable of connecting many social resources. The message of this year’s season emphasizes that increasingly complex social problems can hardly be effectively solved by the efforts of a single individual or organization alone. According to the program’s orientation, synergy is not simply about gathering many people but creating appropriate connections between financial resources, knowledge, expertise, time and communication power. That spirit is concretized through a series of new activities implemented in 2026. In addition to the main award, Human Act Now is formed as an activity branch with the function of connecting, orienting and supporting the continued impact of social initiatives. Action programs will focus on areas associated with Vietnam’s sustainable development priorities such as Net Zero, digital transformation, circular economy and equal education. Human Act also accompanies the “500 day and night campaign to promote the search, collection and identification of martyrs’ remains”, thereby expanding the platform’s scope of activities to issues of profound social and humanistic significance. The Vietnam Impact Council network, abbreviated as VIC, was established to gather experienced leaders, experts and businesses, creating more consulting resources and support for community programs. In parallel, a series of incubation dialogues following the Campus Tour model will be held at universities. This activity aims to create a space for exchange between generations, bring stories of community action closer to students and inspire young people to participate in social initiatives. The connection between media agencies and businesses is also strengthened to take advantage of each party’s strengths, from the ability to spread information to financial resources, expertise and partner networks. The Human Act Prize 2026 structure continues to include many prize groups. In the Project category, there are awards for Inspirational Project, Community Synergy, Persistence, Sustainable Creation, Pioneering and Promising Project. The Product/Service category includes the groups Sustainable, For the Environment and For People. In the Character Category, the program continues to recognize Leaders who act for the community and award the Title of a Lifetime of Contribution. Participating projects will be evaluated by a professional council on 5 groups of criteria including commitment, sustainability, creativity, impact and pervasiveness. The Human Act Prize 2026 journey officially begins on September 21, 2026 with the opening of the nomination portal. According to the plan, the registration portal will close on November 15, 2026. The preliminary round will take place on November 23, the results are expected to be announced on November 25, 2026. The final round will be held on December 2, 2026. From December 18 to 20, 2026, the program will organize an Exhibition of initiatives for the community, before closing the season with an awards Gala on December 20, 2026. Human Act Prize participants include domestic and foreign agencies, organizations, corporations and businesses with offices in Vietnam. By expanding from a prize to a connection platform, Human Act Prize 2026 aims to create more opportunities for community initiatives to find suitable resources, expand the scale of impact and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
